Pat and I have been friends for over twenty years. We were both hired for the opening of the Ware Walmart in 1995. Over the years we shared a lot of laughs and serious moments. Not only was she my friend but also became close to my family. She was especially close to my granddaughter Kelsey. They became instant friends, Kelsey was two years old. Pat never forgot Kelsey's birthday and always was interested in her accomplishments over the years. She enjoyed watching her grow. My last time with Pat she asked about almost every member of my family, she was sharp as a tack knowing many details of times we had talked about over the years. I told her my grandson Brandon had graduated and was going to college, she said " I know, I saw his picture in the paper". As a people greeter at Walmart it always amazed me as she greeted every child by name, she knew them all and enjoyed giving them a sticker as much as they did getting one. Pat loved her cats, but Willie was the special one. I had his brother and we always talked about how much fun they were. She missed him so much when he passed recently. I know Willie and all her beloved cats are with her now. God bless Pat, I will miss her.
