CAROLYN J (QUILITZSCH) KING

          Carolyn (Quilitzsch) King  of Ware, passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at the age of 76. Carolyn was born in Ware and lived there her entire life. She was a homemaker and raised five children. She worked in the Ware Public Schools, Ware Co-Operative Bank, volunteered at Mary Lane Hospital and acted as Vice-President of the Gilbertville Public Library. She was an avid reader and gardener. She also enjoyed painting, knitting and other crafts. Later in life Carolyn became a passionate quilter, spending endless hours creating heirloom quilts for family and friends. She enjoyed hours of activities with her grandchildren. Carolyn was predeceased by her son Christopher King and by her parents Frederick and Olga Quilitzsch. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Roger King, and her 4 daughters Bonnie Christopher and her husband Rob, Wendy Barbiasz and her husband Tim, Melissa Delargy and her husband John, Amy Read and her husband Scott. She leaves 6 grandchildren, Rebecca, Kelley, Chad, Katelyn, Nicholas, and Isaak, and 2 great grandchildren, Radley and Maxwell. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Ware MA.
