Philip G. Rohan

Ware - Philip G. Rohan, 71, of Ware passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his wife, Joanne (Gravel) Rohan; his son, Jonathan Rohan and his wife Nicole; his daughter Jessica Rohan; his beloved grandchildren, Derek, Gavin and Ariana; his brother William T. Rohan Jr., and his wife Barbara, his brother-in-law John Cembura as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Cembura. He was born in Ware, the son of the late William T. Rohan Sr., and May Ruth (Emerson) Rohan.

Phil worked as a Pipe Fitter for Roberts Electric and Johnson Controls before retiring, earning 50 years at Local 104. He was a member of Club 12 and enjoyed coaching many kids from Ware in little league baseball, peewee football and little league basketball.

He loved spending time with his wife and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed many weekends with the guys at the hunting camp in Vermont, especially his last trip that included his grandsons. Phil looked forward to annual family vacations in Maine, enjoying drives up the coast and visiting with extended family.

A Funeral Mass for Phil will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00AM in All Saints Church, 17 North Street in Ware. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4 to 6pm in Charbonneau Funeral Home, Inc., 30 Pleasant Street in Ware.  Masks are required while inside the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA, 02215 or childrenshospital.org or Ware Flair, in memory of Phil Rohan, 126 Main Street, Ware, MA 01082.
