Maria Pantoja

Ware - Maria Pantoja passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family in her home on September 18, 2022 at the young age of 62.

Maria will be forever missed by her sons, Walter Pagan and his wife Jaime Gendreau of Ware and Angel Pagan and his wife Evelyn of Frostproof, FL. She will also be mourned by her three daughters, Marilyn Nieves, Maylinda Nieves, and Adreina Nieves. Maria is survived by her fiancé, Scott Petlock, her sister Milagros Pantoja of Lake Wales, FL and her brother, Edwin Pantoja. Maria also leaves behind her 10 grandchildren, Leslyann, Ashly, Emilio, Arielis, Evelee, Jaleaa, Liam, Jerico, Eve, Geno and one great-grandchild on the way.  She was born in Long Island, NY to the late Antonio and Aida (Rodriguez) Pantoja on May 16, 1960.

Maria was a caregiver and a true mother at heart.  Earning her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, she became a caretaker in many fields. She was aubundantly forgiving and forever thinking of others, especially when it came to her family.  When she wasn’t on the back of a motorcycle, she loved to cook, travel and being by the ocean.  Even with all of these passions in her life, the thing she was the most passionate about was the well being of her family.

Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
