June C. (Layton) Branham

Oakham - June C. (Layton) Branham, 88, of Oakham went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center with her family by her side.

She leaves her 3 children, Robert Branham, Jennifer Berthiaume and her husband Rolland, Benjamin Branham and his wife Kristy; her 5 grandchildren, Jade Berthiaume, Holly Goncalves, Jacqueline Krasinski, Hope Branham, Jake Branham; 5 great-grandchildren, Nola, Kayden, Lionel, Kyla and Layton as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her brother Ronald Layton, her sister, Jean Katzenstein and her loving husband of 53 years, Rev. Carl Branham. She was born in Newton, New Jersey the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Kinney) Layton.

June worked as the secretary at Pilgrim Baptist Church working along side her husband Rev. Carl Branham for many years. She also led a women’s bible study for many years.

She loved painting landscapes, baking, and cooking for her family and friends.

June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family and they loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11:00AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 33 West Brookfield Rd in North Brookfield. A calling hour will be held from10:00AM to 11AM at the church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Oakham following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pilgrim Baptist Church.
