Ware - Jeanne C. (Harper) Mulligan, 75, of Ware passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center after a brief illness.
She leaves her sons, Ryan Mulligan and his wife Kim and Sean Mulligan and his wife Stephanie; her beloved grandsons, Douglas and Joshua; her god-daughter/niece Melissa Pariseau and her husband Dennis; her nephew Billy Harper and his wife Courtney; her great-nephews, Bryce Pariseau and William Harper; great-niece, Grace Harper as well as her sister-in-law, Mary Harper. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Mulligan and her brother, William Harper. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late William and Constance (Masse) Harper and was a life long resident.
Jeanne was the owner and operator of the former Harper’s Market on North St. from 1984 until 2000. For many years, she drove a bus for special needs students in the town of Ware.
She loved gardening and spending her time in the sunshine, either at the pool or beach.
She was her grandsons’ biggest cheerleader, attending all of their sporting events and games. She took pride in her appearance, always looking perfect from head to toe. Her amazing sense of humor led people to refer to her as a hot shit. Jeanne loved her faith, her family and her friends. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Mass for Jeanne will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11AM in All Saints Church, 17 North Street in Ware. Everyone to meet at church. Calling hours will be held, Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 4 to 6PM in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. Masks are required inside the funeral home. Burial will be in New Saint Williams Cemetery in Ware following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ware High Boosters, In Memory of Jeanne Mulligan, 98 Babcock Tavern Road, Ware, MA 01082.
