Ware - James T. Edwards, 63, of Ware, died on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Baystate Hospital after a brief illness.
He leaves his loving wife, Jessica L. (Dunshee) Edwards; his children, Amanda M. Courchesne and her husband Eric, Caryn E. Edwards and her fiancé Francis Roso, Kimberly Edwards and her fiancé John Rough and daughter-in-law, Emily Edwards; his grandchildren, Heaven-Lee and James Edwards, Christine Edwards-Jackson, Hunter and Austin Courchesne, John Jr., Jack and Rita Rough and Dakota Edwards as well as his brothers, Adonis and Frank Edwards. He was predeceased by his son Frank Leroy and his brother Raymond. He was born in Holden, son of the late Frank L. and Rita (Chabot) Edwards.
James worked in manufacturing for Aztec Company in North Brookfield starting in 1975, until its closure in 1988. He then worked at Kanzaki Paper Company from 1988 until his retirement in 2017.
James was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved the great outdoors, especially taking walks at the Quabbin Reservoir and also enjoyed going on joy rides. He was known as the “fiddling fingers of fate,” because he would take things apart to see how they worked. His grandchildren, however, were his life. He adored them and he will be missed by all who knew him.
A Private Graveside Service for James will be held in Mary Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104, online at www.shrinerschildrens.org/ or St. Jude Children’s Hospital P.O.
