Daniel T. Boivin, 64, of Ware, died on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home following a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Diane E. Schaffner-Boivin of Ware; his children, Amber MacIntosh and husband Kevin and granddaughter Autumn, Heather Boivin and her boyfriend Devlin, and Forrest Boivin and girlfriend Ana and grandson, Noah. As well as his many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was born in Springfield, son of Leo and Cecile Boivin of Indian Orchard and has lived in Ware for 35 years.
He attended St. Aloysius, Cathedral High School, and HCC and North Adams State.
Daniel worked as a truck driver for a few years with his wife. He then became a local real estate agent. And he finally retired from Morgan Stanley of Springfield after 17 years as a financial advisor.
He enjoyed travels with his family including many trips to Disney World, Hawaii, Iceland, and more. He loved to enjoy day trips to Mt. Greylock, building sand sculptures at Jenness Beach and was usually found paddle boarding around Beaver Lake.
He was a member of the Beaver Lake Club and enjoyed being an assistant coach for his son’s baseball team at Ware High School.
