Craig R. Webster

Brookfield - Craig  R. Webster, 84, of Brookfield, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Harrington Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

He leaves his wife, Evelyn B.Webster, his brother Duncan and his wife Kathleen of Auburn, Maine, his sister Marla Duarte and her husband Robert of New Hampshire, a step-daughter, Susanne L. Hilbert of Holland, and his step-son, William H. Lubas of Brookfield.  He was born in Lincoln, Maine, son of the late Shirley and Irene (Trott)   Webster.

Craig received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Maine.  He worked as a Benefits Specialist for the Social Security Administration for many years.  Outside of work, he enjoyed playing the trombone with several bands, playing at local venues. 

Per his request, his urn will be buried in his families lot in Chadwick Hill Cemetery in Augusta, Maine at a later date.  There are no calling hours. 

Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
