Irene S. (Pisarczyk) Guzik

West Warren - Irene S.(Pisarczyk) Guzik, 93, of West Warren died on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center with her loving family by her side. 

She leaves her daughter Patricia A. Ostrout of West Brookfield and three grandchildren; Jeremy A. Ostrout, his wife Nicole and their children Nicholas and Alexander of West Warren.  Jason R. Ostrout and his children Ava and Mason of West Brookfield and their mother Corie Buelow of Ware.  Amanda M. Bouvier, her husband Brent and their son Miles of West Brookfield, also many nieces and nephews.  Irene was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Thaddeus J. Guzik, her sister Blanche Wostena, her brother Rudolph Pisarczyk, and her son in-law Reggie Ostrout.

Irene worked as a Supervisor of Lace and Trim at the William E. Wright Company for more than 40 years before retiring. 

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  In her younger years Irene enjoyed bowling, and more recently was a big fan of the Boston Bruins and Red Sox.  She loved being a grandmother, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Irene dedicated her life to her family, the Lord and the Church.  

Irene was a member of the St. Stanislaus Parish Guild and was a loyal and dedicated member of the Devine Mercy Parish.  

A funeral Mass for Irene will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2019 at 10:00AM in the Devine Mercy Church in Three Rivers.  A Calling Hour will be held prior to the mass from 8:15 to 9:15AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc.  43 East Main Street in West Brookfield.  Burial will be in the St. Peter & St. Paul Cemetery following the mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210.
