Ware - Gerald M. Miner, 80, of Ware, died peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
He leaves his son, Dean G. Miner and his wife Mary of Palmer, one daughter, Crystal Koziol and her fiance´ David Smith of Ware; his brother, Ronnie Miner of Brookfield; two grandchildren, Eric and Christopher and several nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia A. (Auger) Miner is 2017. He was born in North Brookfield, son of the late Lionel and Evelyn Miner.
Gerald worked as a Production Manager at Wm. E. Wright Co. and Romar Tissue Mills in Wheelwright before retiring in 2006.
Mr. Miner was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Gerald enjoyed working around his house, and played the drums for several years in local polka bands. He was also a former member of the Melha Shriners.
A Graveside Service for Gerald will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 1:00PM in St. Aloysius Cemetery on Upper Church Street in Gilbertville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
