Ware---Ruth Laura (Osborn) Dansereau passed away Thursday, July 30 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Worcester on July 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Rumrill) Osborn. She grew up in Worcester and attended Worcester schools. She was a resident of Ware from 1953 until 2008 and resided at Keystone Woods Assisted Living in Springfield since then. She worked as a teacher’s aide at the Stanley Koziol Elementary School in Ware and had been a long-time volunteer at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital as well as a member of the Ware Golden Agers and VFW Auxiliary. She was also a proud member of Red Sox Nation. She leaves her daughter Susan Zimmerman of West Springfield, her son Paul and his wife Julie Miller of Boston, her son Dana and his wife Laura of Westfield, and her daughter Janice Vyce and her husband Ken of Springfield. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Dansereau, her youngest son William Dansereau of Ware and her two sisters Charlotte Joyce of Worcester and Eleanor Howard of Chepachet RI. Calling Hours will be held on Monday August 3rd from 4 to 7 pm at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday August 4th at the Charbonneau Funeral Home followed by burial in New St. William Cemetery in Ware.
