Kathryn (Kay) Mantler (Jollie) entered heaven on  September 26, 2015.  Kay was born in Hawthorne, New Jersey to Walter and Florence Jollie.  She was married to Robert (Rusty) Mantler for 56 years.  She has lived in Ware for the past 39 years moving there from Chicopee, MA.  Prior to living in Chicopee she lived in Roswell, N.  Kay was pre-deceased by her husband, her parents, sisters Florence, Edna, Marian and brother Walter.

 

With wonderful memories, Kay leaves her daughter Susan and her husband Matthew of Easthampton, Susan's son Sam, his wife Jennifer and their six great-grand-daughters Bryce, Aubrey, Cadence, Marley, Riley and Grace who enjoyed Sunday dinners with her weekly and adopted grandson Alex Ambroz.

 

Also with great memories, Kay leaves her son Robert and his wife Kathy, of Easthampton, their daughter Heidi, Kay's oldest grandchild, her husband Tom and their son Caleb of Wilbraham and their son Rev. Kenneth Mantler, his wife Meghan and their son Micah of Bridgewater, MA.

 

Kay was a cub and girl scout leader, Sunday school teacher, 39 year member of the United Church of Ware who served on most of the committees within the church, and a member of the Ware Historical Society.  Kay helped run a summer camp for inner city elderly women in Kentucky for many years.

 

Kay and Rusty loved Cape Cod and spent 50 years camping in North Truro where they made many life long friends.

 

Along with many nieces and nephews throughout the country, Kay leaves her beloved friends Jean Kearns of Kentucky and Denise Lucier of Ware.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Oct. 3rd at 10am in the United Church of Ware, Church St. Calling hours will be held  from 3 to 7pm at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. on Friday.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Family Mission Children's Christmas Party,  United Church of Ware, Church Street Ware, Ma.
